What WhalePet is
WhalePet is a macOS desktop companion. You may use the installed app with local features without creating an account.
Account & cloud features
If you sign in, we process account identifiers from our auth provider, chat messages you send to cloud models, pet-generation inputs you upload, and usage metrics needed for quotas and abuse prevention.
What stays on your Mac
Pet animation frames, local settings, and keychain tokens remain on device unless a feature explicitly uploads content (for example reference images for generation).
